Avsoft is pleased to announce the delivery of a number of Web Based Training (WBT) solutions to Air Baltic (Riga, Latvia). Air Baltic selected several Avsoft type rated courses to help satisfy their pilot training curriculum requirements for the B737-300/500, B737-700, B757/767, and the Dash8-400.
“We chose Avsoft because of the platform utilized. This allows us and our students’ access from any computer without the need for third party applications or complicated installation procedures. Avsoft also has a wide selection of courses which is important to us as we now operate four different airplane types. The courses can be customized, there are different pricing options which is also competitive to other providers” stated Captain Erlend Vevelstad, Air Baltic Chief Ground Instructor.

As part of the contract, Air Baltic will be delivering the courseware through Avsoft`s web based Learning Management System.
Avsoft utilizes an innovative database driven solution to deliver courseware either through the internet (Web Based Training) or through a Portable Classroom. The Portable Classroom uses a thumb drive and incorporates a mini-Learning Management System. Records stored in the Portable Classroom can be synchronized with the records stored in Avsoft`s Learning Management System.
