LINE ORIENTED FLIGHT TRAINING SOFTWARE CALOS™ or Customized Aircrew Line Operational Simulation System is a database driven LOS generation software system. CALOS™ enables instructors to generate, on the fly, a random scenario designed to administer an LOE (Line Operational Evaluation), LOFT (Line Operational Flight Training), and SPOT (Special Purpose Operational Training) scenario to flight crews. CALOS™ incorporates CRM (Crew Resource Management) and TEM (Threat and Error Management) models that are essential to LOS training and evaluation.

With CALOS, you do not need to spend valuable instructor time to create canned scenarios that are used throughout the year. By the end of the year, every crew member going to the training center will know what to expect in the simulator.
