The frame is constructed of high strength, square tubular steel. once assembled, the frame can support the weight of a grown man!
Yes, we can build either a Light Weight model or a Heavy Duty model. Basically, we would draw the cockpit that interests you and build the mockup trainer from there. There might be an additional cost for the drawing, depending on the aircraft.

Yes. We have delivered Cockpit Mockup Trainers with a Flight Engineer station before. There is an additional cost to account for the additional pilot station. Contact Sales@avsoft.net for more information.
All Cockpit Mockup Trainers (CMT) are shipped via BAX Global.
For shipments to North America destinations, the crated trainers are trucked.
For all other areas of the world, the crated trainers are flown via Bax Global Air Cargo.
Depending on the model (light weight or heavy duty) and the aircraft (2 person or 3 person cockpit), a crated Cockpit Mockup Trainer (CMT) weighs between 200 and 400 pounds (90 and 181 kilograms).
It takes approximately 90 minutes to assemble, including the uncrating of the unit.
Our Cockpit Mockup Trainers are delivered unassembled in a heavy duty crate for protection.
Backlighting is an optional feature of the heavy Duty Cockpit Mockup Trainer (CMT) only. The light weight Cockpit Mockup Trainer does not lend itself to back lighting. There is an additional charge for the backling.

Each unit is constructed using the same steel tubing for the frame as the lightweight model, but this model goes one step further for durability. Each graphic panel is contained in a full metal box with gator board backing. The graphics are protected with plexiglass for maximum protection and durability. Each box is then bolted onto the frame using heavy duty hardware. Heavy duty models can be outfitted with backlighting. Each unit is constructed using steel tubing for the frame, thereby ensuring maximum support. All panels are attached to a wood panel base which is attached to the frame. The design of the unit enables you to swap panels thereby changing the aircraft configuration. Clients also have the option of upgrading their Light Duty CMT to the Heavy Duty model by purchasing the steel boxes.

Both Cockpit Mockup Trainers use the same high strength durable frame. For the Light Weight Cockpit Mockup Trainer (CMT), the graphics are laminated and mounted on boards which are fastened to the appropriate section of the frame. For the Heavy Duty Cockpit Mockup Trainer (CMT), the graphics are laminated and mounted on high strength, lightweight boards. These boards are then enclosed in stell boxes. The steel boxes are fastened to the appropriate section of the frame. |
