Company History
Avsoft, Inc. was founded in April of 1996 under the idea that student pilots need consistent and reliable training materials. The Pro System Review was the first product Avsoft, Inc. developed to meet this need. The Pro System Review program was created for students pilots who were preparing for an upcoming exam. It was designed to provide an in-depth review of the specific aircraft systems. The Pro System Review is still actively marketed to this day and is extremely popular with airline pilots throughout the world.
Based on the success of this first product, Avsoft set its goal on becoming the supplier with "The World’s Largest Selection of Aviation Training Materials." While working on developing our graphics portfolio, Avsoft created a new product called the Quick Study Guide. The Quick Study Guide is, in effect, a condensed version of the aircraft operating manual, as well as, a cockpit synopsis. The intent of this product is to provide individual pilots a way to quickly review information that they will be tested on as part of the Initial Qualification Training program as well as the Annual Check-ride.
Avsoft’s recent endeavor focuses on Computer Based and Web Based Training (CBT/WBT.) CBT/WBT Courseware is the newest frontier in Aviation training techniques. New developments in internet access and multimedia design now allows for the best education experience possible! Additionally, Avsoft now offers Print On Demand (POD) and Software Conversion services. To date, Avsoft’s library consists of over 50 different aircraft types, numerous software programs, and graphics of nearly every part of the aircraft.
