Avsoft’s Approach and Landing Accident Reduction or ALAR course is based on the Flight Safety Foundation’s Toolkit and covers key principles to safe approaches and landings, including following procedures, using checklists, managing workload, understanding human factors, maintaining a stabilized approach, and responding appropriately to warnings and conditions.
Avsoft’s ALAR course includes seven modules: Introduction to ALAR, Standard Operating Procedures, Crew Resource Management, Energy Management, Approach, Landing, and Go-Around.
This course is designed to meet FAA, EASA, and ICAO training requirements. This online general subject course delivers around five hours of instruction and is suitable for ground school theory study.
Each module concludes with a test, and when all the modular tests are successfully completed, a certificate of completion is generated. Customers also have the option of creating a final exam.
