Overview
Avsoft’s Traffic Alert and Collision Avoidance System (TCAS) 7.1 Course explores important concepts, definitions, limitations, components, and procedures related to TCAS 7.1, which is the current implementation of the ICAO ACAS II concept.
Learning objectives include:
- History of TCAS, including versions 6.04, 7.0, and 7.1
- System description,
- System components, controls, and indicators
- Traffic types and symbology
- Resolution advisories
- Communication with ATC
- Procedures, and priorities
This course concludes with a test, and when the test is successfully completed, a certificate of completion is generated.
