Avsoft’s TCAS 7.1 Course provides pilots and flight dispatchers with a comprehensive description of the Traffic Alert and Collision Avoidance System (TCAS), which is the currently available implementation of the ICAO Airborne Collision Avoidance System (ACAS) concept, and the various features this system incorporates to alert flight crews to possible conflicts with other traffic. This course covers Version 6.04, Version 7.0, and Version 7.1 software.
Topics covered in this course include TCAS history, general system description, indications, Traffic Advisories (TAs), Resolution Advisories (RAs), and level off techniques. This course is designed to provide Recurrent Training for pilots and flight dispatchers. Avsoft’s TCAS 7.1 course delivers approximately 1 hour of comprehensive training.
Avsoft’s RD3 System allows customers to create recurrent courses based on initial courses, as well as add, edit, and delete the questions and answers for the end of module exams.
