PICO awards Avsoft pilot training contract
PICO d.o.o., an EASA Certified Air Training Organization (ATO) based in Loce, Slovenia has awarded Avsoft International a contract for its pilot training.
PICO is using Avsoft’s A320 initial aircraft systems eLearning course for ground school theory pilot training. All modules and tailored exams from the initial course meet PICO’s requirements for its A320 Type Rating training; the course have been approved by CAA of Slovenia.
PICO’s Accountable Manager commented, “We are pleased to cooperate with Avsoft to deliver our high quality A320 training. Our type rating course is comprised of eLearning followed by classroom lectures and Full Flight Simulator training. We give our trainees one of the highest time of Full Flight Simulator training in the industry with emphasis on handling skills, IFR reinforcement, UPRT and PBN. Since last year we are offering a complete training solution from ab-initio to A320 type rating by partnering with Slovenian Aeronautical Academy for ab-initio training. Both companies were established and are run by active airline pilots giving our trainees the crucial knowledge and skills for their later career as airline pilots.”
Avsoft’s proprietary Learning Management System (AvLMS) was selected to deliver the required training and to provide comprehensive reporting facilities to administer all aspects of pilot training and course structure.
