Avsoft enters East Asia with Hi Air Contract
Hi Air, a new airline based in Ulsan, South Korea operating domestic scheduled passenger services, has awarded Avsoft International a long-term contract for a pilot training solution. Hi Air is using Avsoft’s ATR 72-500 Course for its initial pilot training for the airline’s service introduction in 2020. Avsoft’s ATR 72-500 aircraft systems course was also used for Hi Air pilots during the ATR Type Rating training phase. Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT) approval has been received by Hi Air for the pilot training program.
“We are very pleased to have selected Avsoft as our pilot training provider, they offer the highest quality systems course for initial ATR 72-500 training for our pilots and their LMS provides an excellent platform with all the features we need for pilot exams and reporting for us to utilize for all our pilot training in the future” said Hi Air chairman and CEO, Hyung Gwan Youn.

Hi Air is using Avsoft’s proprietary Learning Management System (AvLMS) platform to deliver the ATR 72-500 aircraft systems course and provide comprehensive reporting facilities to administer all aspects of training and course structure.
